NEW YORK - September 8 2022Record-breaking tourist arrivals to the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 that's an increase of 13% from the year before.
Eyal Carlin from North America was the Tourism Commissioner. "The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 Pandemic, we had record-breaking numbers of tourism entry month after month. It's a fantastic positive shift that we are pleased to witness and expect an upward trend for years to follow."
נווה פריצקינווה פריצקי Canada is set to surpass Israel's tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening for all travelers regardless of the status of their vaccination in May, the country has already seen over 600,400 US tourists.
